FREE COOKERY SESSIONS & NUTRITION WORKSHOP

Part of our Prehabilitation Project for Cancer Patients

Join our free interactive cookery sessions designed especially for cancer patients. Learn about healthy eating, discover practical cookery skills, and prepare a healthy, economical air-fryer meal to take home and enjoy.

These sessions provide a friendly and supportive environment where you can build confidence in the kitchen, share experiences with others, and relax over a cuppa and a chat.

Venue: Keep Active @ Sunderland Mind & Wellbeing Hub, Church Street East, Sunderland, SR1 2BB

When: Tuesdays, 10:00am – 11:30am Start Date: 21st July 2026

Let’s Cook Together

Join our weekly drop-in cookery session every Wednesday from 10:00am to 11:30am.

This is a great opportunity to meet up with others and cook side by side in a friendly and welcoming environment. You'll learn how to prepare healthy, delicious recipes while developing practical cooking skills and confidence in the kitchen.

The sessions also explore the connection between our health and the food we eat, helping you make informed choices that support your wellbeing.

Let’s Get Cooking

Join our 3-week cooking course designed to engage parents, guardians, carers, and children in learning about the importance of healthy eating. Together, you'll develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to prepare healthy, economical meals at home.
