With reference to the Sportsability event held on Friday 6th May, I would like to say a massive thank you for again supporting the day and was a huge success. The Sportsability Festivals are a fantastic example of partners working together to deliver a quality experience to the young people of Sunderland with a disability. Without your support and enthusiasm the delivery of the events would not be possible.

The work we have carried out with KKA has been very successful. They have helped keep children fit and occupied

Kepier were delighted to welcome ‘Keep Kids Active’ to run a holiday camp for us in the summer. The whole event was a great success, very well attended and with very positive feedback from both parents and children involved.

“A girl of 7yrs of age attended the coaching session.  ….  She mixed well with all the children and joined in games that she wouldn’t normally do.”

Broadway Junior School have been utilising the support from staff at Keep Active for some time now. As a result of this support, we have been able to further enhance our active offer for children by providing a wide variety of after school and lunchtime clubs. There is an interesting variety and we are able to provide something for everybody. For example, Netball, Fencing, Boxercise, Mini Warriors, Dodgeball and Rugby… to name a few! The children are fully engaged and enthused during these activities. In turn, they develop their social skills with others, team work skills and boost their self-esteem and self confidence. I have always been impressed by behaviour management, the rapport staff have with the children and the level of professionalism from the entire team. Everyone at Broadway Junior School would highly recommend.
